Hi, I'm Aron! I'm a 4th year doctoral student at MIT's Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS) and a member of the Resilient Infrastructure Networks group. My research focuses on applying machine learning towards planning for decarbonized energy and transportation systems. This summer, I'll also be working on optimization and market simulation as a research intern at Gridmatic.
Before starting my PhD, I studied Civil Systems Engineering (Course 1) and Mathematics (Course 18) with a humanities concentration in Ancient and Medieval Studies.
I'm currently a teaching assistant for 1.C01/1.C51 Machine Learning for Sustainable Systems. Previously, I was a laboratory assistant for 6.036 Machine Learning as well as a teaching assistant for 1.074 Multivariate Data Analysis.
